Villeroy & Boch: We are an innovative company with a long tradition – and one of the most important brands in Germany, Europe and the world.
Since its foundation in 1748, the ceramic producer has developed into an international lifestyle brand. Like very few other premium brands, Villeroy & Boch is deeply rooted in European culture. And, in the way that only a great brand can do, it has understood how to preserve its identity while still moving with the times.
Villeroy & Boch produces innovative and stylish products to enhance people’s lives, provide continuous inspiration and open up new horizons for truly personalised interior design.
Innovative strength, design expertise, roots, authenticity and consistent strategic alignment to the requirements of national and international markets – these are the foundations of Villeroy & Boch’s strong market position.
The company’s strong roots in European culture have shaped the development of a premium brand that is now a household name all over the world, from its foundation in 1748 to the present day. Villeroy & Boch is now represented in over 125 countries with its Bathroom & Wellness and Dining & Lifestyle products. The group’s headquarters is the Old Abbey in Mettlach in the Saarland region of Germany.
The company now operates production sites in eight European countries and in Thailand. Villeroy & Boch employs around 6,700 people all over the world.
Villeroy & Boch offers innovative product and furnishing concepts for both the consumer and contract markets. The House of Villeroy & Boch shops present a stylish selection of products revolving around the themes of dining and tableware, as well as a wide selection of gift items to turn every moment into something special. In the Bathroom & Wellness area, Villeroy & Boch offers high-quality products designed to transform the bathroom into a stylish and functional oasis of wellbeing.
The main focus of our sustainability activities is the energyintensive production process, the optimisation and ongoing evolution of which is the key to the path to decarbonisation. We defined ambitious targets and milestones for this in 2021.
Based on technologically analysis, we have set 2040 as our target for achieving carbon neutrality in the Group.
