RWE Generation SE has initiated a hydrogen project in the Saarland region, which foresees the erection of electrolyzes with a rated output of up to 4 x 100 MW. The aim is to supply hydrogen to the steel sector and other hydrogen off-takers in the region from 2027 onwards via a cross border hydrogen infrastructure.
